Lambis Pavlou, chamber pianist
Born in Nicosia, Cyprus in 1996 he had his first piano lessons at the age of four with Anna Forari and continued in the class of Pitsa Spiridaki in the Arte Music Academy.
He has won prizes in national and international piano competitions such as “Evangellia Tziarri” in Cyprus, “Filonas” in Greece and “Pietro Argento” in Italy. He has also represented Cyprus at the 12th Steinway International Festival in Hamburg and in the Eurovision Young Musicians Competition in Vienna. In November 2014 he represented Cyprus to the 3rd International competition of Societa Umanitaria and he gained the prize of performing a solo recital in Milan. He has a wide variety of repertoire and his public appearances include solo recitals, concertos, chamber music and lied concerts, contemporary music and performances on period instruments.
He has obtained his Bachelor Degree from the Sibelius Academy in the class of Tuija Hakkila and now he is in his Master’s degree studying with Tuija Hakkila and Ilmo Ranta.
