Mariola Aniolek, chamber pianist
Mariola Aniolek studied piano at the Sibelius Academy with professor Tuija Hakkila and performed her master's concert in the spring 2021 with excellent grades. She has also completed her studies at La Haute École de Musique in Lausanne with piano classes by Pascal Godart and Pierre Goy. In addition to studying piano, Mariola has studied fortepiano both in Finland and abroad.
Mariola currently teaches piano at the Kirkkonummi and Eastern Helsinki Music Colleges and performs in a variety of solo and chamber music concerts. She has also premiered new Finnish music in concerts by the Open Ears Association and the Sibelius Academy.
The orchestra experience she has gained with the Lapland Chamber Orchestra, Tapiola Sinfonietta, Sibelius Academy Symphony Orchestra, NYKY Ensemble and Avanti!.
Mariola has also been employed in interdisciplinary productions: the most recent in Tamperein the praised play Hitler and the Blonde by Tampereen Työväen Teatteri and the Finnish National Theater, in which she worked as a pianist.
